Glam summer style sets the scene

When putting together a fashionable look, I enjoy taking the time to go through my closet for pieces that I can pair together. Last year, I got a pair of textured, dressy shorts and a top from H&M and in the back of the closet they went, until this summer.

What really caught my eye was the fabric print of the shorts. I paired them with my classic nude heels by Jessica Simpson and minimal accessories, including a necklace from Lulu's and bangle bracelets from Forever 21. The final touch is a gold beaded handbag from the thrift store, which is one of my favorite places to find distinctive and affordable fashions.
